Cargill Co-Sponsors the 2005 Life Time Fitness Triathlon
Healthy new products including the CoroWise™ brand Naturally Sourced Cholesterol ReducerT to be sampled by participants
MINNEAPOLIS - July 14, 2005 - Cargill is co-sponsoring the 2005 Life Time Fitness Triathlon in Minneapolis on July 16. This is the fourth consecutive year that Cargill has supported the growing event, which boasts the largest purse in triathlon history and benefits The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities.
Triathlon competitors will swim in one of Minneapolis’ lakes, run through scenic urban neighborhoods and bike along the winding Mississippi River Parkway before crossing the finish line near Lake Nokomis. NBC Sports will once again provide same-day television coverage beginning at 2 p.m. CDT. The race offers an Olympic course and a short-course, plus several options to encourage participation from a wide range of athletes.
