Premier Event Benefited Two Minnesota Charities
MINNEAPOLIS - July 20, 2002 - Cargill Health & Food Technologies
co-sponsored the 2002 Life Time Fitness Triathlon, presented by TargetŪ.
The Minneapolis Aquatennial sanctioned event, held in Minneapolis July 20th.
Setting a new international standard for triathlons, the 2002 Life Time Fitness Triathlon stands to be one of the premier athletic events of summer 2002. More than 2,000 athletes, including a "who's who" of the world's elite professional triathletes, participated. This event featured the world's largest triathlon cash purse of $180,000 for international distance competitions. The event also offered a world-class professional field, a range of amateur events, and a stunning course covering a 27-mile path around four Minneapolis lakes.
