Cargill Health & Food Technologies Sponsors 2002 Life Time Fitness Triathlon
Premier Event Will Benefit Two Minnesota Charities
MINNEAPOLIS - July 12, 2002 - Cargill Health & Food Technologies is co-sponsoring the first TargetŪ 2002 Life Time Fitness Triathlon. The event, which will be held in Minneapolis on July 20th, will be broadcast on Outdoor Life Network, beginning at 10:30 a.m.Central time.
Setting a new international standard for triathlons, the 2002 Life Time Fitness Triathlon stands to be one of the premier athletic events of summer 2002. More than 2,000 athletes, including a "who's who" of the world's elite professional triathletes, will participate. This event features the world's largest triathlon cash purse of $180,000 for international distance competitions. The event also offers a world-class professional field, a range of amateur events, and a stunning course covering a 27-mile path around four Minneapolis lakes.
