AdvantaSoy™ Complete™ adds to functional bread's nutritional benefits
MINNEAPOLIS - May 6, 2002 - Cargill Health & Food Technologies today announced the use of AdvantaSoy™ Complete™ soy isoflavones by its Minneapolis-neighbor, French Meadow Bakery in a new product. Organic Men's Bread™, the latest addition to French Meadow Bakery's functional bread line, relies on AdvantaSoy™ Complete™ soy isoflavones to expand the bread's nutritional benefits. Preliminary studies suggest soy isoflavones may help to promote prostate health and maintain bone density.
AdvantaSoy™ Complete™ is a natural combination of soy protein and soy isoflavones produced using a solvent-free manufacturing process. AdvantaSoy™ Complete™ contains 2.25% concentration of isoflavones. Cargill Health & Food Technologies offers identity tracking with the AdvantaSoy™ product line, which allows Cargill's customers to know exactly from which farming region the soybeans are harvested.
