Cargill Nutraceuticals debuts first AdvantaSoy™TM soy isoflavones

Minneapolis, MN. - Cargill Nutraceuticals today announced that it has made available the first product in an evolving line of naturally occurring soy isoflavones under the AdvantaSoy™TM brand.

The initial product contains 2.25 percent isoflavones, and is available in standard and non-GMO** versions. Cargill Nutraceuticals said that over the next several months it will introduce a complete AdvantaSoy™ line of isoflavones backed by Cargill's worldwide reputation for consistent high quality, reliability of supplies and expertise in soy processing.

"Our 2.25 percent AdvantaSoy™ has a high level of naturally occurring soy isoflavones available in an easy to use, free-flowing powder," said Steve Snyder, director of sales and marketing for Cargill Nutraceuticals. He said that Cargill's processing technique for the 2.25 percent product does not use solvent extraction and the isoflavones are maintained in their natural state.

"Isoflavones are a key component in the rapidly expanding soy market* and are particularly beneficial in products for the nutritional market," Snyder said. He said the new AdvantaSoy™ product is particularly well suited for use in dietary supplements, meal replacement drinks, special nutrition breads and other functional foods.
